down the Appalachian information raceway
a charming mono-sodium humanoid
came up to me and said
"I wanna find a forest
made of monochromatic
fuzz tone,
I wanna put my fist through
a brominated
partially hydrogenated
limited edition
kind of fungi"
and i said
"don't you talk about the woods like that,
go take your anger to the oldest pharmaceutical store
in the northeastern corner of rural pennsylvania
and demand to know where the culture went,
where the feeling went,
